When we feel stuck, we need to address and resolve the feelings and thoughts that are holding us back. In individual therapy, the therapist and client meet in a confidential, one-on-one environment, with treatment typically being focused on one or a couple of specific goal(s) (such as to stop feeling low and sad all the time, reduce anxiety at work, or feel more confident about yourself). Therapy is a collaborative effort. We work together to help you through your challenges and figure out a way to reach your goal by changing the way you think, feel and/or behave.
